The Miracle Question - Powerful Manifestation Practice

A common question employed psychologists to remove our problems and help us realize our hearts' desires
Quarantine has been hard on all of us. I've had my struggles with mental health as I'm sure a lot of you have as well, resulting from a lack of socialization, fear, and an uncertainty of what the future will look like.
As I was perusing the inter-webs for more information on mental health, I ended up stumbling upon a post by positivepsychology.com. In this article, they mentioned something called a "Miracle Question".
According to this site, The Miracle Question "...allows us to connect where we are today to where we want to be in the future by visualizing vividly and emotionally the goals we desire."
Its a way to envision and describe in detail how the future will be different when any given problem we're currently facing is no longer present.
The Miracle Question is this:
"Imagine that tonight as you sleep a miracle occurs in your life. A magical momentous happening that has completely solved this problem and perhaps rippled out to cover and infinitely improve other areas of your life too…Think for a moment and tell me… how is life going to be different now? Describe it in detail. What’s the first thing you’ll notice as you wake up in the morning?"
You are then invited to answer these prompting follow-up questions:
What do your senses pick up?
What do you feel?
What are you doing? (In as many aspects of your life as possible)
With whom are you doing it?
Where are you living?
How much fun are you having?
How much income are you earning?
What difference are you making in the world each day?
You can even draw out your visualization and write out your answers if you feel called.
All of these questions evoke detailed visualizations within the mind. As we collect more and more details of our vision, we are able to see with even greater clarity what it is that we want. This is the very point of the exercise, as details strengthen manifestation.
I believe this question also helps us to identify the root of our suffering. If we are able to pinpoint a specific problem that we would like to move past to feel happiness and peace, this may offer us a great deal of clarity as to what is causing our unrest.
I used this Miracle Question this morning as a journal prompt/visualization exercise and it put me in a great mood! I felt as though I had more energy and it helped me realize that my current feelings are entirely situational.
I would love to hear your guys' thoughts/experiences with this practice! Let me know what you think in the comments :)
